New education programme available for a limited time in conjunction with our new exhibition “WWI: New Zealand and the Great War“.
Although we already have a comprehensive education programme for Pakanga Tuatahi o te Ao – WWI, our latest temporary exhibition offers a different perspective to expand your students’ knowledge about WWI and its direct impact for New Zealanders at war.
Students can put themselves in the shoes of an unnamed soldier and follow their journey from life at home, preparation for war, fighting, the return home, and the price paid; by both the soldiers and those who remained at home. The main themes our teachers cover:
