Forever Peace

Forever Peace an exhibition commemorating the 70th anniversary of the Korean War features rare photographs taken by Kiwi soldiers during the conflict. 

It features a collection of rare photographs taken by New Zealand soldiers during the war as well as some artefacts from the Museum’s collection. The pictures offer an insight into the everyday life for our soldiers in Korea, shows off the terrain, and chronicles some of the activities of our soldiers during the period of occupation, through to the recovery of soldier remains by the MAKRI agency in South Korea today.
