Te Mata Toa – Through the Eyes of the Warrior – Museum Tour

This programme is for the following year groups: Year 4-6, Years 7-8, Years 9-10, Years 11-13.

Te Mata Toa – Through the Eyes of the Warrior answers the question: ‘How have the New Zealand Defence Force’s actions on the battlefields of the world helped forge the New Zealand Identity we know today?’ 

This bespoke programme and tour of the Museum explores the way of the NZ warrior and the bicultural heritage and distinct culture of the NZ Army, and allows students to see and reflect on how conflict has shaped our nation and its identity.
