This programme is for the following year groups: ECE, Year 1-3, Year 4-6, Year 7-8.

Animals have been involved in and played a major role alongside New Zealanders in conflicts all around the world. Some of the stories you will hear give an insight to how important these animals were. We look at the huge variety of animals (and even insects) involved, their roles, friendships, and the loyalty they showed.

Explore the museum with us to follow some of the stories of the different animals involved, and finish with a special story and activity in our classroom, Te Akomanga @ 81.
