The Museum is reliant on admission fees, shop sales and donations to ensure that we have the necessary funding to conserve our artifacts, grow our military collection, provide stimulating, informative displays and to provide educational packages to the youth of our Nation.
The National Army Museum receives no direct Government funding toward these activities.
Our mission is to engage New Zealanders in the stories of our soldiers and the history and development of our Army: to show how these have shaped our identity as a country and our place in the world, and thereby has helped to create a nation which understands and values its military dimension.
