The Waiouru Community ANZAC Day Civic Service will be conducted at the National Army Museum on Sunday 25th April 2010 commencing at 1100 hours. All military and civilian personnel and the general public are welcome to attend the service.
The Museum will be opening 0900 – 1630 hours on ANZAC Day. Entry to the Museum will be reduced to $5 pp for the general public. The Museum offers an appropriate environment for reflection and remembrance on this special day.
Tranz Scenic Explore by Rail have a special group visiting us on ANZAC Day. They will travel up from Wellington on a newly refurbished Silver Fern railcar on the Saturday 24th April. They will have a relaxing overnight stay at the Chateau Tongariro before transferring to the Museum for the special ANZAC DAY event.

If you have a family member or friend who died in service, and is remembered with honour on our Tears on Greenstone database, you can now have their image placed on our Memorial Wall. A small fee ($50) is required to help us offset costs. All we need is their Service Personnel Details and a photograph (which we will return) or a good quality digital image.
Please visit our website or contact our Kippenberger Research Library staff on 0800 369 999 for full details. |
