Hi, my name is Muse and I am the National Army Museum's Education AmbassadorThe National Army Museum has an amazing vehicle collection.
Here I am outside our Museum posing on top of our Centurion and M41 Walker Bulldog tanks, make sure you stop for a look next time you pass through Waiouru.

I also assisted Mr George Pycraft, Assistant Curator of Technology park, with one of our many LandRovers in the workshop.

Another important area within the Museum is Textiles where we have recently installed new mobile shelving to more effectively house all our uniforms, hats, scarves, balaclavas, quilts and flags.

The National Army Museum is very popular and recently the TV programme What Now came to visit. Their vehicle was nice but not as cool as our battle tanks!

Kids love to visit our Kidz HQ and dress up in army DPM uniforms and face paint. Make sure you stop in for some fun at the Kidz HQ next time you pass through Waiouru with your family.

One of the most exciting things I like to see driving around Waiouru is the NZ Army's LAV's which stands for Light Armoured Vehicles. They go fast and look cool! Keep an eye out next time you are driving along State Highway One.

Your friend,
